Hacker

With technology, e.g. the Internet, what it is today, many innovative ideas have been brought to life, but the criminal actions of hackers have also been created. One example is the former University of Tennessee student and his hacking of former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin's Yahoo! e-mail account. He accessed pictures, e-mails, etc. illegally.

Gov. Palin had to testify, answering questions such as why was her password recovery question "Where did you first meet your husband"? It was obviously too easy. To that, Palin answered that she didn't know that everyone had known. The consequences are being determined for the hacker(s), but the situation is clear. These boys hacked someone's account, the Governor of Alaska's account no less, and there are going to be serious consequences.

The question isn't how much of it is Governor Palin's fault for making the security question so easy for a third party to answer, but what the consequences should be. The punishment is serious - hackers can't be let off easily or more and more will appear and next time it could be President Obama's e-mail.

Don't you think?
