News and Blues

First off, let's start with Obama's bowing to the Japanese emperor. Really people. It's not that big of a deal. My fellow conservatives...Please stop trying to politicize everything. Yes, perhaps it was a bit odd that no other previous president ever bowed to the Japanese emperor, and this bowing wasn't even really bowing (not Asian enough, obviously), but it's not as if Obama has defaced the United States...or has he? Hm. I suppose that as the president of the United States, there is no reason for him to bow. It gives a sense of kowtowing or subordination, in a way. A simple upright handshake would have sufficed, in my opinion.

Yes, well, that's not really important. But if you want more information, click here.

Secondly, I rather like Sarah Palin's idea of integrating her political beliefs/opinions into her book to get word out. Why do the Democrats have to bombard her with such severe criticism? Haven't we criticized her enough already when she was the running mate of John McCain?

And my last point! The "Blues" part of the title of this blog post comes from the epic Swine Flu spreading around in the United States. Really, people. If you can't get vaccinated, then use effective methods of prevention! Clean hands, sanitizing, coughing into your shoulder, not sneezing then rubbing your dirty hands into your eyes, etc. Fight the flu. Now, we find that perhaps there is another mutated flu virus (or variation of pneumonia <---what?!) that is infecting people, mainly in Europe. To read more about this, click here.

Well, that's all for now. Seniors in high school - good luck with your college applications!
